Sounds negative? I know. Hell I dont believe it either. Look at it, we grow up with love being magical. It takes away all troubles. Not knowing that love is rare, and hard to keep.

Love it consumes all! No Freaking Duhh!!!!! It's suppose to. Love is a power that can burn a planet in a second, yet delicate enough to create a smile. So why do I avoid it with all my power? I'm a prisoner of my own gifts. I dissect and analyze any and everything. I'm not a person that should be allowed to think about our situation. I'll always rule you out. I find whats wrong and attach myself to it till you dissolve. I know what love is. I've tasted her soft lips, sipped of her cup. It has and does still burn inside me. I dare not let it shine through. I'm afraid the clouds of life will take my sunshine from me. There's someone that wants to dive into my soul. Dare I let her swim? Why does she want to? My kisses are of concrete. She says yes but they warm of summer. How can she be? Am I the exception to reality that everyones heart is disposable? Her touch commands me. It calls for me. The concrete turns to glass and she sees all that I am. She sees what I value most. My heart. I try to distract her intentions. There's no heart there to be had. Her smile slowly dims, and she walks away. My glass exterior receives one single crack across my chest. I cover up with my cloaks of womanizing, skepticism, and greed. They comfort me. I feel me go cold from within. I ask myself. Why am I hiding my heart....... again?

Lost.

Those that know me know I'm a open book on basically everything. I've never been one to hold back how I feel no matter how others perceive it. As of lately I've been on a emotional roller coaster and have been keeping to myself those whom care noticed others lost me in the shuffle. This blog is for those that legitimately care.... What am I talking about I have only 9 followers on my blog oh well I guess I'll talk to myself. Those that may not know I've lived quite a eventful life. I've been at what would be the top of the world engaged, and a bright college student. The relationship fell apart and I bounced back with what some would say was a better life not rich but 10s of thousands in my account, a promising future in front of me, and a celeb on my arm (I wont put her out there). Many would've done anything to have my life including myself. They say what goes up must come down and boy did it. My funds depleted, lost the girl, had to sell my car to make tuition and was basically homeless. I was at rock bottom or so I thought. I made refuge from south Florida and lived in Jacksonville, FL where I started to rebuild my empire. I vowed I'd never be broke again and that I would put myself before anyone. Now mind you I had approximately a year and a half left to achieve my degrees (was double majoring) but thought of not having food to eat for days and being dead ass broke kept me from returning. I seemed to back on my trail of greatness. Went through a few jobs none of them less than a management positions till I found the money I wanted. I was feeling good my money stacking back up, I have like minded people around me, and was in a relationship with a woman that fits into my puzzle. As always when I'm at my absolute peak is when I fall. My job wanted me to unjustly fire someone and I declined so I was fired instead. My license is suspended for a year which causes legal issues that will in the future will hurt me more. On top of all that the woman I loved grows tired of my "Tony before all" attitude. I'm back at the bottom again great. I live off my stash a lil bit till I find a job I love which actually took a couple years but non the less I love the job. Me and ol girl back together and is rebuilding. The whole time though only thing i can say I live for was for was money. It honestly was the only thing I always cared about. It was my motivator. I was fine with that, who wouldn't be. Well that motivator got changed when I was advised that I was to become a father. Nothing less than a miracle (two forms of birth control was used) I redirected my focus to become what my father never was. I live for her and her only. Me and her mom fell out again this time it wasn't on me, but I never took my eye off my focus to be the best thing in my daughter's life. I was on top of the world and was the happiest I've ever been. One night after visiting with my daughter everything changed. I was pulled over (at this point I have a revoked license) beaten, and taken to jail. I have a lil money not a big deal to bail out and put a lawyer on it. In the mean time I'm talking to the marines due to the fact my legal issues had a adverse reaction on my current employment. I still live for her, my moves are to benefit her. The marines look at my credentials I'm a prime candidate just got to get my legal stuff in order. I work out a deal with the courts and in trade for 6 months of my life I will not be convicted of any felonies. As bad as it sounds I was excited for this to happen. It gave me time to separate from those that weren't really on my team, give em time to forget me. I also had the time to emotionally bond my daughters mom without the BS in the way. I wont front she wasn't the only woman I was talking to but she was the only one that was real. I came back and I was focused I was ready to become a marine, ready to be there for my daughter and give her the best life possible. Well the marines told me I had to wait 90 days before they can speak to me about enrolling. No big deal I'll just hang out with my lil one. Me and my family are strong I'm happy so are they. My 90 days roll by and I'm told I can not enroll in the marines. I'm broke again and I have a daughter to take care of. While I'm trying to create a situation to generate revenue I give my daughter's mom my car, for she already has a situation to get money and needs a way to get back and forth. I'm focused I'm grinding I got a lil money coming in keeping me a float. Me not having money didn't make me sad as it use to I found my happiness in her. Things get sour with me and her mom she likes being the "party girl". Oh well fuck her all I need is my daughter. I kick in on the bills every now and then buy necessities, and I'm babysitting as much as possible. I'm told that's not enough. I fall back try to get more money coming in. Jobs are saying my background check is showing that I'm a convicted felon so ain't no one hiring me. I explain to her mom what I have and what I can give she says ok that's cool. It's actually more than what I've been giving anyway. That discussion was three months ago. I've been trying to see my daughter every week for the last 4 1/2 months I get hit with the response "I'm too busy come and get you". I gave her my car and I cant even get a ride in my own car to see my daughter. I hit a dry spot with money she sells my 60" TV without telling me. I create new ways to see my daughter for her mom to flake on me every single time. With all that being said I get a call saying "Tony I need you to pay my light bill". I cant take it anymore I say no. I'm not gonna just be your money train I want to see my daughter. Her response why don't you just sign over rights to her since you cant take it any more. With that statement I can only assume that she's intends to keep her away from me and I tell her I no longer want to fight I'll fall back. Since then I've been lost. I've tried to attach myself to things that use to make me happy. Started dating again buying random things just cause and none of these things fulfills me. I've ran through like 2 females in a matter of months. I'm currently digging some one but I'm sure at some point she'll be number 3 (i hope not). I still live for my daughter. I don't have her in my life so I'm out here lost. If you actually read this thank you for taking the the time.

HyperopticTV Episode 2: Ipod Nano

<img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; Most of the time its just a bunch teens talking bout random BS over and over. Well I told myself I was gonna take a break from twitter for a week or so. Well I'm out of my hiatus and its only been a day. I got a good reason though as I lay in my bed doing my daily late night jam session my phone begin to blow the hell up. Now mind you its around 4am so I'm like what the fuck going on? Well I get hint that a crew that I'm a part of has become the number one trending topic. I hope up and sure enough #NT is number one. Come to find out in usual fashion #NT exposed some one via twitter and those in the know how we do, it has to be epic. From there the clan said eff it lets hit #1 show the world we run the net. With the help from Ben Baller, Tila and her army, and Wale we did it. The funny thing is no one thats not in the know, knows what #NT really means. The general idea of the masses is that it means Nice Tits. That's totally fine cause of one thing only...... NT is a secret society....All we ask is trust. #NT

In Those Jeans

Well I'm back with another one. I was having a chit chat with one of my twitter buddy the other day. Within this convo she told me her nephew was searching for tiger stripe skinny jeans. Now don't get me wrong I'm a older person (27 to be exact) but I still see my person that still connect with younger people or maybe that's a old man trying to hold on. This whole jerk movement I get it great but where I get lost is the whole skinny jean thing. Those that are lost jerkin is a dance movement from the west coast. The kids in the video are wearing crazy colored jeans that are painted on and dancing around. Baggy jeans are out and its the smaller clothes are the better. Really? I understand that fashion cycles over and over and there was a time frame where spandex on a male was a OK thing. Are we re-visiting that era? I hope not. What is being misunderstood is that they wore spandex, these kids wearing denim. Denim is a harder fabric and retain shape so how the hell are y'all getting in those jeans? I wont flex i don't wear baggy jeans I wear fitted jeans, Levis 514s to be exact (I'm a skinny nigga) . Anyone that really knows me I went away and lost a lot of weight so I threw on some Levi 511 jeans that was ordered by mistake and I must say OMG them joints hurt my meat something awful. That's where I get lost cause 511s ain't the skinniest you can get. What the hell going on? I blame Jim Jones. Believe it or not when Dip Set said they we're trend setters it was true. They started the whole rock star ed hardy thing that I despise by the way. I have to assume that the west grabbed it and was like how can we can take it to the next level? Hmmmm I know lets get extra colorful and make our jeans tighter. Get the heck out of here! Y'all niggas look like queers real talk. Like real question how can you carry a wallet or a iPhone or sidekick? If y'all could get a yest infection you'd have severe cases. It may seem like I'm bitching/hating if so oh well. The thing is niggas that's into this fad start to create this image of coolness then the females starting to think its cute. I'm sorry male camel toes is not where it's at. Am I wrong? Let me know.

New Follower Request

If you aren't on twitter at this point I'd have to assume you're not into social networking. Twitter has swept the nation bigger as any site before it. I feel the reason that's the case is you actually have a better chance to connect with the people. That's why it's called "follow" I feel that way. I will say this the BS has landed just like any social networking site. You got a group of people that are just looking for attention and will go through great lengths to get it. They'll post nudes, beg you to listen to their new mixtape, etc and do it all day with great vigor. You have the folk that's always mad. You know the ones that are never pleased with anything and love to talk down all day. In the mad category are those that man/woman bash all the damn time. Then last but not least you have those that just let you in their life and use twitter for what it is. Now at any point we can fit into any of these boxes cause we are human we have emotions, we have agendas. What boggles me is the constant need to have followers. Just like myspace before it the number of followers are defining how cool you are. This my thing I only follow those that I find the things that they say and their lives to be interesting. I don't follow anyone just cause I find it to be lame. there's people on your your following list right now that has never said anything to you or shown any interest in you. Why are they there? We all fall for the #FF crap every week it never fails. I understand the purpose of it but people don't use it properly. We just recommend people to follow any one. How cool is that? I want to only to follow people like you cause I find you interesting. I set my profile to private for that reason (and spam). I actually research every time I see "New Follower Request" cause I don't want to offend people or hurt anyone. I know I'm a weird person and have some strange views of life but the thing is those that follow me feel the same way or are at least amused by it. Those that I follow deserve my follow cause I think they are cool. I'm aware that the numbers reflect your coolnest but I ask you this do you think all that follow you really think you're cool ? I think everyone I follow are the coolest dead ass shouts to the girls in Naptown yall my fav females on twitter. Shouts to the NT fam (if you don't know what NT is you ain't suppose to). Shouts to my Duval folk y'all know who I fucks with. Fuck it shouts to those I follow on twitter I got love for all y'all.

Why Do You Hate Me?

Today's relationships between men and women is as weak as ever. Men have the general idea that every woman is she's a money hungry bitch or a hoe. On the flip side women view of men is that's we are all dogs and can never be trusted. It saddens me that this is the case cause I can remember when this wasn't even remotely the case. The funny thing about all of it is the fingers get pointed as for who's fault it is. For me I'm neutral, it's almost a chicken vs egg situation. Dare I dig in a little? Come on you know I'm going to.

My only way to do this is to compare the old to the new. When a young Tony was growing up men cheated on women a lil less than today. The difference was women would stomach it for the sake of the kids, for the state of family. Salomon had a gang of wives and I'm sure that was a passed down tradition before him. Does it make it OK? Not all, but I said that to say this... It's in a males nature to have a healthy appetite for women. For a while women evolved to counter that appetite by being every woman to her mate. What I feel is that is women started to attach themselves to male traits in the quest to be treated equal. Women lost the interest to be superwoman. Women stopped sweeping dad's cheating under the rug cause shes too busy in her quest of equality. Mom also is seeking what daddy stopped giving her at home as well. What takes place is little man sees his daddy getting it all over town so he assumes that's the OK thing to do. Not only that lil momma see daddy doing his thang also the music that's promoting cheating and sees that as the way to live. Niggas then become "not shit". Lil misses you're right we aren't but who's fault is that though? My thing is this the tit for tat has created a wall between the sexes. Men don't wanna do better cause the attitude of the new school woman. Women don't want to give a dog a chance to learn tricks cause she doesn't want to be bitten. We are at a impasse how can it be fixed? I have no idea. We both are the problem not just men, not just women. We've lost so much value in one another it's sickening. Our value to each other is "niggas aint shit" and "money over bitches". All I can say is wow. For me it defeats the purpose we might as well be like other animals and just have sex for pro creation purposes only. With both of us having our own problems I ask women "Why do you hate me?" when we both are as guilty? Or is my perception skewed?

Is That Really You?

In this day and age people spend more and more time on the net, hell I'm one those people. We got our facebooks, myspace, and twitter pages all poppin which we update all day with random info and pics that look into our lives. We let people be the fly on the wall or the bird that follows us. My concern is this are we really the person that we portray online or is @insert twitter name here a fasade of what we really want to be but to afraid to embrace in real life? I've encountered all kinds of personalities online. The guy/girl that always has the most outrageous stories or statements, how about the Internet baller or the model chick with barbie, baddest, or dream somewhere in their handle? You got the funny guy, the "real"nigga or bitch, and the sexually confident woman. I can go on and on. I've hung out with quite a few people that I only knew from online and I will say about 60% of them were like online. I'm not saying that in a negative way just as in you were cooler on the net kind of way. It's just a lil odd but I understand online we exist but we don't we can hide behind our avatars and profiles and let those be the things to convince others of our personalities. We don't have to answer to anyone and we have no rules. My thing is this whats so hard about falling for our own hype? If the person you want to be is what you live online why not try it out in the real world? I only can speak for me when I say this... This is me 100% of it. The words you read are those of my heart and mind. Now look at your profile and tell me Is That Really You?

This is not the way Loso

Aight I'm a music lover anyone that knows me knows i listen to music all damn day. I'm also a person that'll give any artist and every album a listen to before i join the hate or love wagon. Let me say this I think Fabolous is one of the best out. He has some of the hardest punchlines I've ever heard. I just got the new album Loso's Way on my desk and im loading it to my iphone as I type. Y'all will be getting my reaction to each song as I listen to it. Here we go......

1. The Way (intro) = Beat is nice, bars good(I was running the city you were learnin to step) ok the bars are starting to decrease in quality.

2. It's My Time (Feat. Jeremih) = Yikes this beat is fucking epic, hook fits well, got a great sing along feel to it, Fabs bars aren't that great on it but he's riding this beat though. I really like this beat. The highlight of the song is Jeremih, Fab you needed him for this one.

3. Imma Do It (Feat. Kobe) = Who the hell is Kobe? Not the black mamba? OK it's not KB24. This beat got annoying real quick. Bars average at best and whats with the "I dont give a fuck lines" at the end of the verses? I dont like this at all

4. Feel Like I'm Back = Beat starting like a southeren beat...oh it is. This hook is wack. OK Fab with a southern flow is wack. Next!

5. Everything, Everyday, Everywhere (Feat. Keri Hilson) = R.Les owwwwww! Beats nasty. Fab what you doing to the beat? Keri baby you sound like shit on this. I've made to 1:43 of the track and I cant take anymore.

6. Throw It In the Bag (Feat. The-Dream) = I was told this was the single. Its my first time listening to it. What is this the tricking anthem? Beat > the bars and the flow on this. "Bag full of chip we ain't talking ruffles" Fab are you even putting forward a effort?

7. Money Goes, Honey Stay (When the Money Goes Remix) (Feat. Jay-Z) = (-_-) at this beat. what the hell is this crap? Oye Vey this is extra wack.

8. Salute (Feat. Lil Wayne) = Lets see if Weezy shits on Fab on his own shit based on the songs I've heard thus far. "I'm not a boxer, I'm gonna be brief" nice line fab. Whats with that lame juno line? Wayne is all over the place with his bars they were ok at best. OK fab bring it home cause I'm not impressed. OK I've heard a variation of every single punchline on this song.

9. There He Go (Feat. Paul Cain, Red Cafe & Freck Billionaire) = This sounds like a soundclick beat. Hook is weak. Bars are a tad bit better. This beat is really dated. This ones OK just not great. If these bars was pasted on something else it would be better. They should have gave Freck more bars he had the best bars.

10. The Fabolous Life (Feat. Ryan Leslie) = Another Next Selection track yessss. Once again beat great. So South Beach. Fab seems to be able to ride R.Les tracks well. My thing whats with the bubblegum bars though?

11. Makin' Love (Feat. Ne-Yo) = Another soft ass track? Really? Beat is meh. Ne-yo's on point. I think I've had enough of the soft shit from this album. Put a red dot on a nigga or something. NEXT!!!!!

12. Last Time (Gotta Go) (Feat. Trey Songz) = -____- NEXT!!! Sorry Songz I cant take this shit.

13. Pachanga = ahhhhh this shit is wack shaddduuuuuppppp!

14. Lullaby = This better be a song bout murder. Yessssss! I want more of this. Beat makes me wanna cock my gun. La la la laaaaaaaa! I like this joint (pause) *Volume up 2 notches*

15. Stay (Feat. Marsha Ambrosius) = Marsha I love you! Fab shut up like real talk. I'm looking foward to the hook again. Ahh there it goes. I see the purpose of this track. Do I like it nope. Next!

16. I Miss My Love = -_- beats better than the spitter.

Ok lets see...... ummmm......... this album sucks! I liked 3 songs tops on this effort or lack there of. Fab I understand that songs for the ladies makes money. Do that and get back to what the fans love you for. I wanted more tracks like lullaby. I wanted mixtape fab, I wanted Fab that says yesss every few bars cause he gave me a dope line. What you gave me was this crap. I'm not interested in watching the Loso's Way movie cause I'd have to assume that its you trickin and kissing the whole movie.

Do you got what it takes?

I'm sure you're looking at the title and like WTF kind of title is that? Sit back and you'll see folks. I ask do you have what it takes, do you have what it takes turn love into a successful relationship? Most people think love is all you need to be happy, those people are stupid if you ask me. To have something real takes both parties being realistic. When I say be realistic I mean step out of your fantasy world and say hey we live in a real world let's take it head on together. First things first we need to realize we live in a "what have you done for me lately" society. That means it's not bout what you did it's bout what you do. What you won't do someone else will and more than likely better. Fellas you're woman need to know she's the most beautiful and the best woman ever. If you have to force that then you don't feel it and more than likely not her either. Ladies we are men make us feel that way. Give a lil submission will get you a long way trust me. We live in a society where cheating is becoming more and more normal. I'm not a fan of it but I understand. Men cheat typically for lack of variety. Men don't like life to get to predictable and normal. We like spice in our life no matter how little. We cheat more so with our dicks and not with our hearts. Sorry fellas but all men are dogs we just need a master to treat us good, feed us right both literally and figuratively, and let us hump when we in heat. If a dog gets that ladies he'll never leave the yard. Ladies y'all cheat with y'all heart. Y'all step out most of the time cause ya man ain't emotionally there. With that being said fellas be in her heart as much as you're between her legs.
We're in a day where women work as hard as men. In a successful roles need to be understood. Yes damn it I said I let me explain. Part of what makes a man feel like a man is bringing home the bacon, well in today's world man and woman bring both bring in the paper. That creates a power struggle. Both parties gonna feel they work the hardest and wants the other to cater to them. Why not cater to one another. Take turns cooking or share the task together. Fellas some women actually like to cook but don't want to feel like a slave a simple thawing seasoning goes a long way. It may be a time both of y'all ain't feeling like cooking. Before y'all bug out on one another how bout y'all go out to eat. How bout you take her to he place y'all ate on your first date? Decision making is another big issue. Compromise people just do it. It's OK to submit a lil on both sides. Last but not least really know who you're dealing with. Ladies you know if you have a man women go crazy over but do you really know how he'll respond to the attention. Trust is built on knowledge. Know your partner and you'll know where his or her head is always is at. Don't be afraid to talk and talk honestly. Well I'm going to get back to my late night y'all be easy but before I go I question do you have what it takes? Do you have what it takes to be the man/woman your mate needs, wants, and wish for?

-- Posted From My iPhone 3gS

The blueprint to my heart

Women always say men are so confusing and don't know what we want. I cant buy that, maybe a boy doesn't know what he wants but a man knows. Every woman I've ever considered being with have received what i call the blueprint to my heart. This may or may not pertain to all men but i can only speak for me. I'm a simple man that want a happy and simple life. Spouse or no spouse I'll have it. All i really want is a woman that's bout her man, a woman that wants to be queen. Just that simple. I know what you're wondering what the hell does he mean? I'm a man that spoils my woman whatever she wants she gets emotionally, sexually, or financially. I'm gonna make everyday with me happy and make yo feel like a queen. I just want the same that's it. Looks are great but not a big deal. The best way to put it is if you get me to like you and want to be with you, you're good to go. Now I'm not gonna give the entire jest of what i want cause I'll just have a gang of females just telling me what I wanna hear. Why is it the normal guy gets no love from the ladies? The average woman is attracted to "bad boy/thug", or the "I'm too sexy for my shirt guy". What's with that? Like why would any woman want a bad boy? Last I checked a bad boy does bad things in life and that doesn't excludes relationships. Like I see allure but it's stupid if you ask me. Now what about the too that thinks he's more beautiful than the women. Nigga get that punk shit outta here. Ladies why would you want that? Women love these kind of guys but what bout a guy like me. I'm a good guy, honest, caring(if ya the misses), hard working, don't live with mommy, and I take care of my kid. The thing is I'm usually looked at like a lame once I express that's who I am. Like I get their attention with my looks and shit goes south. I'm a nerdy ass nigga that's no military secret. I will say the nerds are starting to get a lil love I don't know why but it's happening. As the title states what's a good man? I wanna try to describe him and I want yall to tell me if I'm off. A good man is a man that has backed you up from day one no matter what it was. He works all day sometimes night and when the check comes give it straight to you to take care of the house y'all built. You never have to ask him to give ya nothing cause he already got it for ya doesn't matter if you want it or need it. He may hit he streets with the boys but he's checking in on the text just so you know you're the only woman he wants. A man that loves your family like its his, and if you already have a child treating it like he helped make it anyway. A man that makes you laugh and smile on a daily with small things even when you've had a huge shitty day. A man that makes chicken noodle soup for you from scratch for you when you're sick. He holds you at night so you can sleep well. A man that will give you the shirt of his back if ya cold. Or takes ya out of town for the hell of it. A man that still finds a way to make u blush daily. the words. A man that uses I love you as part of his daily vocabulary and makes sure you know that's the feeling is true. All that emotional stuff is cool and all but what if this man knows your body to the core and knows what to do to do and when to do it to send you in orbit. Now ladies (hell fellas yall can answer too) is that a good man? What makes a good man?

-- Posted From My iPhone 3gS

Hyperoptic- Money Boy Remix

What's I know I've been slacking on my blog lately but the kid been holding me hostage. It was the worst. The day came and I was at the apple store at 4:30 am to be sent away and told no one can line up till 5am great. Concerned the company will have to start breaking open the collective piggy banks to keep the lights on? Well rest easy, friends, as the folks in Cupertino have just issued a compelling piece of PR that will surely put your mind at ease -- one stating it managed to move a million iPhone 3G S units over the weekend. That's right, in a fashion not completely dissimilar to last year's iPhone 3G launch (though with far less hiccups), bucketloads of happy buyers flooded Apple's coffers with sweet, delicious cash money for the new smartphone. The buying frenzy was apparently even exciting enough to rouse recovering CEO Steve Jobs from his convalescent state. The seemingly-now-returned honcho is quoted (for the first time in months) in the press release as saying "Customers are voting and the iPhone is winning." Winning indeed Steve... and welcome back.

-- Post From My iPhone 3gS

Casio G-Shock Shock the World

CASIO G-SHOCK recently kicked things off for their six month “SHOCK THE WORLD” campaign. All three are now available through EastWestWorldwide.com while the remaining pairs will drop in August and September of this year.

I'm Moving to Rhode Island

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island — Prostitution is illegal in nearly every U.S. state besides parts of Nevada. Donald Carcieri is joining lawmakers, police chiefs and others Thursday at a news conference to press the state Senate to pass legislation that would make any prostitution illegal — effectively putting out of business the so-called massage parlors and spas that proliferate in the state. The bill passed the House of Representatives last month.

Rhode Island's loophole went mostly unnoticed until Providence police raided several spas in 2003 and then lost their cases in court because of the loophole. Police can arrest prostitutes operating on street corners, but they struggle to make charges stick against those operating indoors because the current law — passed when street prostitution was rampant — specifies outdoor solicitation.

Since then, lawmakers repeatedly have tried and failed to change the law, facing opposition from civil libertarians, advocates for sex workers and even the state chapter of the National Organization for Women. They say permitting the arrest of prostitutes could end up punishing human trafficking victims.

They doubt these trafficking women will open up to police after a raid, and they say a criminal record could make it more difficult for prostitutes to leave the sex industry.

"We would never arrest a domestic violence victim in the hope we could get her to cooperate against her abuser," said Andrea Ritchie, director of the Sex Workers Project at the Urban Justice Center in New York, who has lobbied against the bill.

Rep. Joanne Giannini, who sponsored the legislation to close the loophole, argues many of the women who work in the Rhode Island sex shops are coerced victims of human trafficking. Without a stronger prostitution law, police lack the tools to intervene.

"We're going to become a safe haven for the sex industry," she said. "I don't think that Rhode Island should have this dubious distinction."

Giannini's bill would give police discretion in making arrests and includes specific protections that allow human trafficking victims to be acquitted by arguing they were threatened, restrained or had their immigration papers stolen.

Rhode Island's current prostitution laws are the consequence of a 30-year-old legislative accident.

In 1976, a group called Call Off Your Old, Tired Ethics — or COYOTE — filed a lawsuit arguing the state cannot ban purely private sexual activity between adults, even if money is involved. The group also claimed that police were unfairly targeting women prostitutes while largely ignoring their male customers.

The disputed statute was so restrictive that a federal judge found it could potentially ban even some forms of consensual sex between adults.

Around the same time, residents in the West End of Providence complained to police that outdoor prostitution was so rampant that customers were randomly soliciting women on the street. So legislation was passed that outlawed only paid sex and cracked down on those making solicitations outside.

A federal judge who later analyzed the statute ruled it also had the effect of decriminalizing indoor prostitution.

Former House Speaker Matthew J. Smith said lawmakers never meant to draw a distinction between indoor and outdoor prostitution. Even so, he wants state lawmakers to eliminate any ambiguity.

"There's no choice," Smith said. "We're the laughing stock of the country."

Charles Hamilton - Super Sonic Love

So Charles Hamilton leaks this track I peeped it via 2dopeboyz and I must say it is extremely wack. We're getting a bunch of tips rolling in with updated tracking information for shipped 3G S orders folks have placed through the online Apple Store, confirming that Apple has actively coordinated with its shipper to hold on to the packages until "a future delivery date" that isn't specified. We can only assume that'd be the 19th, but our question is this: can you just march down to your local UPS branch and try to pick it up yourself in the meantime? Carriers often require that at least one delivery be attempted before you can waltz in and grab the package, but it might be worth a shot later today.

OS 3.0 delayed? The trick to how they're getting the jailbreak hasn't been revealed yet for fear of Apple making a fix at the eleventh hour, but if everything goes according to plan, the new hacking software should be out Friday in time for the iPhone 3G S (no guarantee it'll work on the new device).

New Slaughterhouse freestyle

Slaughterhouse Freestyle
New joint it doesn't have all the members on it. As iPhones make the inevitable transition from wildly-anticipated objects of lust to commodities, it seems that Apple's putting progressively less effort into carefully orchestrating and micro-managing launches -- and if you want solid proof of that, look no further than the shipping tracking numbers coming off of the online Apple Store's order status site where you'll find that some iPhone 3G S units should be in buyers' hands tomorrow.
